“Yeah, the ideal patient — or I would say the most common patient that I get for clear aligners — is actually somebody who, let’s talk about this, had braces as a child or an adolescent, right? Then maybe didn’t wear their retainers, and now they’ve had some orthodontic relapse, or basically where the teeth have shifted back and now they don’t have perfectly straight teeth.
Those are the patients that tend to be ideal clear aligner patients.
Now, that being said, we talked about who’s the ideal clear aligner patient. It’s not to say that it’s only for simple fixes or anything like that. If we have a more complex situation, or maybe you didn’t wear braces as a child or you weren’t afforded that opportunity, clear aligners are still an option for you. We just need to make sure that we do that clinical evaluation and make sure that it’s the perfect fit for you.”
