How long do dental crowns last?

When taken care of properly, dental crowns can last for up to 20 years. The important part is taking proper care of them and scheduling routine visits with Dr. Hall to ensure the crown is still secure and in its original position. The first five years of having a crown usually requires little to no major treatment or fixes to the crown. To keep your crown in ideal health, be sure to brush and floss as required.
