“You know, there’s three weeks between the time that you prepare my teeth and I get my final porcelain veneers. So what am I wearing in the meantime, or what do I look like? Am I walking around with, you know, my teeth prepared and sensitive and that sort of thing?
And the answer to that is absolutely not.
So what you would wear in the interim, you know, whether that be a week or three weeks depending on the case, we would have you in your provisional veneers.
Now, what does that mean for me? What that means is it’s our ability to assess any changes in the smile, right? So we’re going to kind of put in that blueprint to allow you to have that preview of, hey, this is what things are going to look like.
Now, it’s not going to be as perfect. It’s not going to be as pretty, okay, and that sort of thing, because it’s just something that I’m making chairside versus the beautiful porcelain veneers that we’re going to later put in.
But it should give you a really good idea.
So that also is going to protect the teeth, you know, the underlying tooth structure and everything like that, and so that you’re comfortable and you can go about doing everything you would normally do.”
