Unfortunately, as the consumer, you don’t know, right? You don’t have the clinical background that the cosmetic dentist who you’re trusting to do the work for you does. You only know that by evaluating or actually looking at the process or seeing how much tooth preparation is actually done, and talking with the dentist about that.
I mean, that’s one of the most common questions I get, right? How much of my tooth structure do you have to remove?
Well, there are several cases that we can do no prep. That’s becoming a great option for us as our porcelain materials get stronger and stronger.
Unfortunately, as the consumer, you really don’t know unless you’re documenting it. And that’s what we’re seeing, right? Some of these patients who are documenting the shark teeth, posting pictures of it. And I feel for those people, because most of them are young, and it’s going to lead to a long, challenging dental journey.”
