Traditionally, that’s just four appointments in the office. What time frame does that happen in? It’s usually about 4 to 6 weeks, just depending on how backlogged I am with cases.
That’s a rough estimate of how many appointments it takes to get veneers in the office. It takes about four appointments to get those veneers.
What those appointments will look like: the first one, it’s usually pretty quick. We’re just taking some photographs, some digital impressions. We’re going to discuss the goals of your smile transformation. That’s where we’re going to start to talk about what you want your teeth to look like.
Second appointment, that’s where we’re going to have you in, lightly prepare the teeth, do any tooth preparations that we need to do, and then send you home in your temporary or provisional veneers.
Third appointment, you’ll come back. That’s when we would actually place the veneers. That’s where we would adhere porcelain veneers to your teeth.
And then I will see you a fourth time, again real quick, just to make sure that everything’s feeling good, make sure your bite feels good, make sure there’s no rough areas that you want me to smooth down, just to make sure things are looking great for you.”
