“Let’s review this implant case that focuses on the restoration of both Form and Function for a beautiful smile. Now, if you look closely here at this initial smile, you’ll say, ‘Well, Dr Hall, there’s not much wrong there.’ Well, look closer. There’s actually a ball class. This is actually a flipper or prosthesis in place to actually help replace some missing teeth. This is something the patient had been wearing for a very long time.
If we look at this other view, we can now start to see that the teeth are missing. Now, if we look and see closer in this next photo, you’ll actually see something piercing through the tissue. And if we look at the X-ray here, you’ll see that there was actually a miniature implant or mini implant that was left in place. Apparently, this was an attempt in order to try to give this patient some sort of interim tooth after or during the orthodontic treatment. Obviously, this didn’t work out.
So we were able to do a little augmentation when we removed that miniature implant. We were able to do some augmentation to the Bone and soft tissue, which allowed us to then finally place a couple implants seen here in these x-rays.
Now, as we look here, we’ll see that the patient is actually in a temporary. These are used to a temporary on the implant. These are used to shape the tissue, also used to assess color and to start dialing in this process of finishing up these Restorations.
You can look here and, again, see from the top we have a couple screw retain Restorations into these implants. This is a great way to restore this case.
Now, if you look here at the smile again, this is immediately at seat at the time of us seating them, so we still have a little bit of maturation. And then, on followup, this is the photo that pulls it all together. We’re able to see the beauty that this brings as we’re able to give this patient a dental implant Solution that’s going to last a long time.”
