Dr Andrew Hall recently lectured at the Cerec 30 meeting held in Las Vegas, which was attended by 75 other dentists.
The Cerec 30 convention was held at The Venetian and The Palazzo Resort Hotel Las Vegas, celebrating three decades in the industry by hosting three days of world-class educational sessions, networking opportunities, and entertainment. The Cerec 30 also provided leading dental industry vendors with the ability to showcase their products and services.
Dr Hall lectured in tandem at the Cerec 30 with Dr Markus Vollmann from Germany. Dr Vollmann is responsible for bringing this product to the market. Dr Hall voiced a clinical perspective on Cerec 30 as he has been one of their earliest users since this product hit the U.S. market.
Dr Andrew Hall lectured three times in total, discussing a new block that we can mill with our Cerec machines. This block is a high-strength glass ceramic made from zirconia-reinforced lithium-silicate, which is shaped by the Cerec to create an inlay, on-lay, crown or veneer. This combination is called the “Celtra Duo”, and manufactured by Dentsply. There was also the chance for attendants to sit in on a live panel which Dr Hall took the opportunity to join. This panel provided fellow practitioners with the ability to discuss the Celtra Duo amongst a number of other dentists from the U.S. and Canada whom also use this product.
What is Cerec?
The Cerec technology is revolutionary in the dental industry. “Cerec” stands for “Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics”.
